hot and humid here and the a/c is still
a' crankin'.....

i am NOT a happy camper...

i really thought the other night that things had
broken as i was able to sit outside for a bit
and actually felt a breeze....
but...didn't work out as i thought...

as most things in life don't these days...

i am in the sunset of my years..as they say..
and i cannot count on any two days being the
same anymore...

being a virgo ..this has really been.. and still continues
to be ...a challenge for me...

however...not much choice as mother nature
trumps it all....

it is *interesting* being in these sunset years to say the least...
one never thinks about it beforehand...
at least i didn't...i guess i didn't know what to expect
so i just didn't think...
but it is *interesting*...

and the *heat* goes on...

well...looks like we are surely in the
middle of a heat wave here at 9 rowland...

as stated before...NOT my fave...
today ..however...does seems a tad less humid...

i shut the air conditioning down for a bit and
opened a couple of windows...it was nice
to hear the birds chirping just the way
God intended ....

i see my chiropractor/acupuncturist two times
a week...monday being one of those days...
started a new protocol and the needles go
on the inside of the fingers...smarts a little
but hopeful it will do its trick....

enough rambling for today....

just wanted to touch base with any blogettes
that might pop in...

when my heart sinks a bit as it does sometimes
in life...i try to remember that i am never alone...

hot and sticky and yuck...oh my...

'afternoon blogettes...

well here it is july 5th and it is hot sticky and yuck..
to my liking anyways...

most people get SAD in the winter with the shorter
daylight hours...however...me..being me...get
it in the summer in the ..yep..you got it...
hot sticky and yuck weather...

i am cocooned inside with the a/c on which then
brings on a myriad of sinus stuff....
looking outside at the pretty yard but not
about to venture out...

one nice thing though...the littles...aka lucas and
shelby...now enjoy our pool...

so maybe i won't look at july and august
as hot sticky and yuck so much anymore...

littles do that to grammies!

i guess it has been *forever* since i posted...

my cousin..janie...started a blog today and it
gave me a bit of an incentive to get back on here again...

it's been a *year* here at 9 rowland...actually it's been a couple
of *years*...but we are still here to chat and blog about it...

been doing a lot of facebooking and a bit of pinterest...
health issues have kept some things at bay but we
continue to bob and weave...

it's been a while...

'morning...

it's been a while

since i have posted...

to say that life has

been challenging is

a way understatement..

when things are amiss in my

life ...i i feel so scattered and

can't quite get myself together...

lots of hurts and disappointments....

lots of people turning the other way

when they could be of comfort...

i am trying to work my way thru

all that but it is tough....

don't mean to *dump* it all here..

but i guess that that is what

blogland is all about ...

the good the bad and the ugly...

we added a new bathroom 

to the back of 9 rowland...

i actually love it...

did a few minor renovations in

the kitchen too...love that also...

still in all..when a heart is broken

into a bazillion little pieces...the joy

doesn't hang around long....

i have had so many changes in my

life this past year or so...it is sometimes

hard to catch my breath...

those that i wished had come along

for the ride chose not to....

that smarts...

well...on a good note..it is bright

and sunshiney today and i will

do my best to enjoy the moments

i can...

messed up my

back yet again

back brace..

i am thankful

little shed..

two seater outhouse..

in need of a new roof...

in the interim...

i got locked in there..

and being the

claustrophobic gal

that i am..

i pushed out one

of the screens

to open from the outside..

phew!

because as i shared w/my

facebook friends..

it would have most probably

taken mr b several

hours to realize 

that i was MIA..

and by then ..

i would have been

really

beside myself...

well on to the roof...

the copper that i truly wanted was

way too expensive

even for me..

who could win

any shopping diva

award around...

for copper but *way* too

i'm a little teapot...

been mia again for a while...

this year has been a

very health challenging

year for me...one thing

after another...

remember the dizzy dame

post?

well...still dealing

with remnants of that..

and a new something or other

to boot!

but..it hasn't stopped

me totally from 

frequenting

my favorite haunts...

saw this little teapot

yesterday when i

was out and about...

now..as you can see..

it has certainly

seen better days...

even missing its

lid...

however...

it kept calling me

back to it..

so i HAD to

bring it home....

was going to use it

for pens at my computer

desk 

but thought

it was so special..

it needed a place

of honor...

and it now has one...

i figured...

i have seen better

days too

but i have a lot

of life left in ME...

so ..so does my 

little teapot....

speaking of little...

my littles are pretty

sick too...

some wretched

virus..

high temps..

labored breathing...

very scary...

mend ..

we hope.....
