it sounds really

frightful and 

macabre..

doesn't it?....

speaking of

frightful and 

macabre..

the rain is still

here at 9 rowland..

along with some

cooler air today..

it is making my

hair look frightful

after my walk 

outside w/dusty

the dog...

 all this talk
about frightful
and macabre..
reminded me
that
i want to show

you

some things that
are lurking around
9 rowland...

a victorian hair bracelet...

with a rolled gold clasp..

and pink glass stone...

very intricate work...

keep it in a shadowbox

along w/some

cameos..a bride's handkerchief

and victorian

scrap...

an extremely intricate

hair wreath

woven

with some

jet beads...

and..the macabre...

a framed

memoriam..

i love it..

others are spooked by

it...

isn't it great...?

so here's the deal...

victorian women

combed and/or

brushed their

hair daily and.

the stray hair

was

saved

in hair receivers

...

here's an example

along w/ a matching

vanity tray..

i use it to *house*

some of my

jewelry...

the collected hair

was then

 made into

jewelry..

hair from a deceased
loved one
was
also made into
jewelry or wreaths..

very

intriguing...

frightful...and

macabre...

so..i am hoping that mr doppler

is right..

and....

that the sun will start

shining tomorrow

and continue on 

thru the week..

until then...
i will try to

keep sunshine in my heart

and

hope that you do
