here at 9 rowland...
most of the snow
has melted and
the birds are chirping
and it just smells like
spring...yay!!!
went to the beach yesterday and
hope to go again today..
i was looking for seaglass but
there was one little girl IN THE
WATER....i worried about
WATER....i worried about
her all night.....surely she will
catch a cold ...once a momma
always a momma..i suppose...
when i got home...
wanted some egg shells to
use in the crate i got last
week at my haunt....
got the inspiration from the newest
jeanne d'arc living magazine..
when i get it completed ..i will
show it off...
so...i used the eggs to make..pastere...
an easter dessert my mom always
made...
here's the recipe for anyone who would like to
try it...
mary's pastere...
8 eggs
1 1/2 lbs whole milk ricotta
3/4 c sugar..or to taste
2 cups milk
3/4 c. cooked pastina
beat eggs...
add remaining ingredients..
mix well...
pour into greased casserole or
13x9" pan...
bake at 375 degrees
until knife inserted in the middle
comes out clean...
hope you like it as much as i do...
and that it is springtime in
your hearts...
thanks for stopping by...
be well....
warmly.....susan
