FEAR

HATE FEAR/FEAR HATE

REAL

"It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse. "You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in your joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."

trifecta.....

yesterday was a very
exciting day...

the painting and
moving and repainting
got all done...
the floor was a
combination of
painting mistakes
but i am loving the
way it turned out...

all chippy and weathered and distressed....
good job...mr. b.....

next...my favorite haunt was
opened...woohoo!....

i just adore this religious picture i found there...
unusual to see the whole fam together
hard at work...

and..after browsing all the jeanne d'arc living
magazines and seeing how they use religious
items in their decor...i was all the more
excited with my find...

next find....
shabby vintage pie safe ....metal back on it...just
have to decide where to put this prize...

what wonderful shutters i got...
great patinaed yellow paint...
have to think of a project for these...

while there...met a woman who had
just given birth to twins last week...
my kind of gal...
out shopping already.....

speaking of babies...
we had the end of a perfect
day when we met up w/lukie
and his parents for a hot dog...

he was pretty happy to see us too...

so much so that he was giving grandpa
lots of kisses....awwww...

his face lit up when his mom
and dad dipped his binky
in either coca cola or mountain dew..
hey~that was good!

beddy called to lukie..
so off they went...

trifecta day.....

thanks for stopping by....

be well...

warmly.......susan
